I have never been to the far away continent of Australia. Yet, there stands a mountain, and just guess what it is called...
MOUNT KOSCIUSZKO
A polish explorer named Count Paul Strzeleki named the mountain after me. Might I say he had great taste in naming mountains.

My Bridge
I did such a wonderful job during the Revolutionary war that there now stands a bridge connecting parts of Brooklyn NY and Queens NY.
There are two special towers on the bridge that hold eagles. One is the eagle of my homeland, the Polish eagle, and the other is from the lan I served, the American eagle. It is a great honor
If you wish to see the bridge but don't plan on going to NY you can find teh movie "The Godfather". In the background of the funeral scene "my bridge" can be viewed breifly.
Maybe though, if you are not lazy you will rise up and travel as far as it may be, to see my marvelous bridge!

The Great Thaddeus Kosciuszko
I am THE GREAT Thaddeus Kosciuszko! I was born in Siechnowica, Poland (which is now known as Belarus, Poland) on February 12, 1746.
My brother Joseph would frivolously spend his money. I also had one sister, Anna KosciuszkoEstko who at one point married a man named Piotr.
When I was twelve my father died. Because of his death I lived on a small part of our estate that I inherited because it was mortgaged.
